Professor Ligeti was a wonderful instructor. Throughout the course, he was very attentive, encouraging, and thorough. While studying under him, I developed a deep respect for the history of the United States because his love for American history was heartfelt throughout the entire semester and it was contagious. In my opinion, he set the bar high on how a professor should set up their course and help their students. If I was offered another history course while studying for my degree, I would hope that Professor Ligeti could be my instructor again because of how well he conducts his course and his lessons. I learned so much under him and am grateful for the experience of being his student.

Andrew Ligeti was my college history professor. His unique and introspective teaching methods left me learning not only lessons on how to write proper essays but also on life lessons. History is a subject that can influence a person's life. By Andrew putting himself in his lessons and allowing all of his students to see new perspectives on history, it taught all of his students how to feel empathy for the past and how to overcome obstacles in the future. Andrew is the best professor I ever had the pleasure of having. His constant care for his students along with his strong desire to teach, makes him a wonderful professor.

Mr. Ligeti was a great teacher. He took an extra step to make sure all of his students understood the content he taught. His workload was manageable but fun such as how he'd introduce the class to the day's subject while having it connect to today's culture. His class wasn't just a monotonous lecture class that is common in college and high schools currently. Student discussion and interaction were key to the class and its structure. He currently is one of my favorite teachers I've had. Mr. Ligeti was understanding of his student's limits in and out of his class. When one of the books for our class's book reports was significantly longer, he shortened the reading for that book's report down to allow those who wanted to read the book to read it without having to read quadruple what the other students did. Mr. Ligeti helped students out of class with college applications and chose to introduce them to new topics through intellectual conversation. In all Mr. Ligeti cared about his students while teaching them and was an excellent teacher.
